What a great day! Performing at the Lowry and then Media City, doing our thing for Children in Need...all before 11:30am! I loved watching the Piazza at Media City fill up with our Do Your Thing members in blue and purple with the addition of their yellow Pudsey ears too! Great fun at a great gig for a great cause! It was a pleasure to do our thing for BBC Children in Need and to help raise money for this fabulous cause.
With the launch of Do Your Thing's first ever workplace choir - Do Your Thing @Rentalcars.com fast approaching, over 40 members of the choir did their thing over a lunchtime at the very funky new offices of the Central Manchester based car rentals giant to show the employees and potential choir members what DYT can do!
The 27th of May has become a very special day in the DYT calendar!
May 27th 2014 was a date with destiny, where DYT's founder and MD, Liz Taylor finally met Choral Director Extraordinaire Gareth Malone. May 27th 2016 was a date to remember when Do Your Thing launched its first ever workplace choir - Do Your Thing @ Rentalcars.com!
Only in the amazing world of 'Do Your Thing' can you experience the drama, atmosphere and songs of the world's longest running musical at your local pub! On Wednesday 13th April 2016, the Moortop pub hosted a sell-out evening of entertainment, with songs from Les Miserables, performed by a 50-strong choir, along with solo performances, food and drinks!
